Description
The LeMieux Arika Featherweight Turnout is developed using the same technology as applied to the Storm-Tek range. This lightweight turnout rug provides the perfect transition rug between the Winter or Spring seasons. The detachable neck and optional additional liner attachments provide the choice to customise the weight of the rug. Ideal for use on warmer rainy days with a 900D waterproof outer to provide protection alongside maximum breathability and minimal weight. The Arika's angled front closure system features a unique design registered buckle to evenly balance and distribute pressure, helping to prevent rubbing on the point of shoulder and across the chest. The main body of the rug is cut from durable Oxford weave developed in a custom width removing the requirement for a central seam along the back and is wide enough to provide generous depth without additional side seam.

We recommend using a soft tape measure. From the centre of the horse's chest, run the tape horizontally across the point of shoulder and continue to the furthest point of the hind quarters
There is a great deal of importance in ensuring the correct rug size is selected for your horse. A well fitted rug will self-right, prevent rubbing and slippage which can cause discomfort. As horses come in all shapes and sizes, it is important to consider the conformation when selecting rug size.
