Greenhawk is currently looking to fill the full-time position of Social Media Specialist, based out of our home office in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of in-office and at-home work. The Social Media Specialist opportunity offers the right candidate a diverse role in the fast-paced and expanding Marketing Department at Greenhawk. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the planning, creation, execution, and analysis of all social media content across multiple brands. The ideal candidate will be a passionate equestrian, should possess excellent organization skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
What you’ll do:
- Develop a strategic and comprehensive social media plan for multiple brands
- Plan, create, and execute appealing and creative content for all social media platforms, including both organic and paid content
- Stay on top of changing social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement with our customers
- Complete analysis on campaigns to identify what’s working, what’s not and where there is opportunity for improvement
- Plan and mange growing influencer program
- Daily proof reading of marketing materials including, but not limited to print materials and digital content
- Provide guidance and support for stores as they manage and develop their local accounts
- Engage with customers who reach out through our social media platforms
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Horses are our passion equestrian knowledge is a must in order to be a successful candidate
- Be highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable being on camera and featured in social media content
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent proofreading, copy writing and communication skills. The ability to recognise and adapt your voice to different brand’s identity is crucial
- Post Secondary Education (Degree or Diploma) or comparable work experience
- 2-4 years’ experience in Social Media management
Preferred (but not required) Skills
- Bilingual
- Experience in other areas of digital marketing
