The Metalab Loose Ring German Silver French Link Bit features rings that slide through the ends of the mouthpiece. The sliding motion of the mouthpiece is great for horses who lean on the bit or who evade the rider’s aids as it provides the bit with some side-to-side and vertical movement. The French link mouthpiece features a flat piece of metal that sits in the centre, joining the two halves of the bit together and helps to apply mild pressure to the horse’s tongue when required. Constructed from German silver – a combination of brass, nickel, and copper to encourage saliva production for a softer, more responsive mouth.
